JUST ANOTHER THOUGHT

death of an innocent

I went to a party Mom,
I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I drank soda instead.

I really felt proud inside, Mom,
The way you said I would.
I didn’t drink and drive, Mom,
Even though the others said I should.

I know I did the right thing, Mom,
I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending, Mom,
As everyone is driving out of sight.

As I got into my car, Mom,
I knew I’d get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me,
So responsible and sweet.

I started to drive away, Mom,
But as I pulled out into the road,
The other car didn’t see me, Mom,
And hit me like a load.

As I lay there on the pavement, Mom,
I hear the policeman say,
“The other guy is drunk,” Mom,
And now I’m the one who will pay.

I’m lying here dying, Mom….
I wish you’d get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom?
My life just burst like a balloon.

There is blood all around me, Mom,
And most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say, Mom,
I’ll die in a short time.

I just wanted to tell you, Mom,
I swear I didn’t drink.
It was the others, Mom.
The others didn’t think.

He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference is,
he drank
And I will die.

Why do people drink, Mom?
It can ruin your whole life.
I’m feeling sharp pains now.
Pains just like a knife.

The guy who hit me is walking, Mom,
And I don’t think it’s fair.
I’m lying here dying
And all he can do is stare.

Tell my brother not to cry, Mom.
Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven, Mom,
Put “Daddy’s Girl” on my grave.

Someone should have told him, Mom,
Not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom,
I would still be alive.

My breath is getting shorter, Mom.
I’m becoming very scared.
Please don’t cry for me, Mom.
When I needed you, you were always there.

I have one last question, Mom.
Before I say good bye.
I didn’t drink and drive,
So why am I the one to die?

BILL GATES

Bill Gates dies…

“Well, Bill,” said God, “I’m really confused on this one. I’m not sure whether to send you to Heaven or Hell! After all, you helped society enormously by putting a computer in almost every home in the world, and yet you created that infernal Windows. I’m going to do something I’ve never done before. I’m going to let you decide where you want to go!”

Mr. Gates replied, “Well, thanks, God. What’s the difference between the two?”

God said, “You can take a peek at both places briefly if it will help you decide. Shall we look at Hell first?”

“Sure!” said Bill.

“Let’s go!” Bill was amazed! He saw a clean, white sandy beach with clear waters. There were thousands of beautiful women running around, lying in the water, laughing and frolicking about. The sun was shining and the temperature was just perfect!!

Bill said, “This is great! If this is Hell, I can’t wait to see Heaven!”

To which God replied, “Let’s go!” and off they went. Bill saw puffy white clouds in a beautiful blue sky with angels drifting about playing harps and singing. It was nice, but surely not as enticing as Hell. Mr. Gates thought for only a brief moment and rendered his decision. “God, I do believe I would like to go to Hell.”

“As you desire,” said God.

Two weeks later, God decided to check up on the late billionaire to see how things were going. He found Bill shackled to a wall, screaming among the hot flames in a dark cave. He was being burned and tortured by demons.

“How ya doing,’ Bill?” asked God.

Bill responded with anguish and despair. “This is awful! This is not what I expected at all! What happened to the beach and the beautiful women playing in the water?”

“Oh, THAT!” said God.

“That was the screen saver !”

MY PERSONALITY TRAITS

My bright side

Friendly and humanitarian
Honest and loyal
Original and inventive
Independent and intellectual

My dark side
Intractable and contrary
Perverse and unpredictable
Unemotional and detached

my personality basically fall into two principle sides: one shy, sensitive, gentle and patient; the other exuberant, lively and exhibitionist. Both sides are strong willed and forceful in their different ways and have strong convictions, though as i seek truth above all things, am usually honest enough to change my opinions, however firmly held, if evidence comes to light which persuades me that i have been mistaken. i have a breadth of vision that brings diverse factors into a whole, and can see both sides of an argument without shilly-shallying as to which side to take. Consequently am unprejudiced and tolerant of other points of view. This is because i can see the validity of the argument. i obey the catch phrase to “Be open to truth, from whatever source it comes,” and are prepared to learn from everyone. in simple words am humane, frank, serious minded, genial, refined, sometimes ethereal, and idealistic, though this last quality is tempered with a sensible practicality. am quick, active and persevering without being self-assertive, and express myself with reason, moderation and sometimes, a dry humor.am nearly always intelligent, concise, clear and logical. most of the time strongly imaginative and psychically intuitive. In spite of the internal strong personality. i sometimes appear to bend down in front of others and take too little to appeal to them.  But once i decide that someone is worthy of my friendship or love, i can exert an almost hypnotic and irresistible mental attraction on them and will myself become tenacious friends or lovers, ready to sacrifice everything for my partners and be faithful to them for life. However if am deceived my anger is terrible. If disillusioned, i do not forgive.i work best in group projects, provided that they are recognized as having a leading part in them. i have a feeling of unity with nature and a desire for knowledge and truth.  Among the faults to which am liable are dedicated unconventional behavior, rebellious egoism, excessive lack of involvement and tendency to withdraw from life and society, and a tendency to be extremely dogmatic in my opinions. i may express a lack of integrity in broken promises, am secretiveness or cunning. boiling anger and hatred, rudeness or, worse, a tense, threatening silence which may suddenly burst out in explosion of extreme temper, these are all part of the negative side of my personality
